Simply Easy Tax Professional Network Standards
These standards describe conduct expected of participating professionals. Acknowledgment records receipt of this exact version. It does not approve a credential, activate membership, or grant referral eligibility.
- Accurate representation. Keep professional name, credentials, service areas, contact details, and availability current. Do not claim a credential or verification the network has not approved.
- Client choice and consent. Explain services and fees clearly, seek informed consent before sharing client information, and respect the client’s choice of professional.
- Privacy. Use referral information only for the authorized service, protect private records, and report a suspected improper disclosure to the Owner promptly.
- Responsive service. Respond to offered referrals within the applicable network process and update the referral status truthfully. Decline work that cannot be handled responsibly.
- Fair treatment. Communicate respectfully, avoid misleading claims, and raise service or conduct concerns through the Owner review process.
- Review and correction. Cooperate with a documented Owner inquiry. An allegation alone does not establish a violation; any separate membership, verification, or eligibility action follows its own controlled process.
Professionals with a current ERO portal relationship can sign in to record their acknowledgment. Each case or allegation receives separate Owner review.
